Hardcover in slipcase. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition; Limited edtion. Color Illustrations; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 409 pages; 1935 The Limited Editions Club. Slipcased hardcover. Limited edition; copy #1242 of 1500 printed. Snugly bound and neat in genuine tappa bark covered boards with Polynesian-inspired spine decoration designed by Miguel Covarrubias. Illustrated throughout with 24 color panels by Covarrubias, who has signed the limitation leaf at rear. Publisher's decorative paper covered slipcase sharp and neat. Prospectus card and monthly LEC "Letter" #75 laid in at front. Just a hint of toning to the spine surface of the binding. A well preserved and very attractive copy. NF .
