Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Lot of 36 titles from the Arno / New York Times Series The American Negro, His History and his literature. All told, the volumes are clean and well kept. From the home of a well regarded historian of Black studies. Also was a tobacco smoker, and that combined with age has led to occasional toning… / darkening of the tan cloth part of these hardcover volumes - though without any consistency, it is present to some degree on nearly all. Faint odor as well, especially for those of sensitive nose, though to this seller it is not egregious. Besides that, the condition is pretty solid on all. Binding are all quite strong, sturdy, tight , square. No markings were found in any of the books, and no other damage to interiors at all. One volume has some fraying to the edge of the cloth of the front, and some of the volumes have lesser or greater degrees of rubbing, scuffing, dustsoiling, but all told clean beyond the toning. Uncommon to find so many in one place. Shipping will be extra ! pickup available in NYC. TItles are: Men of Mark: Eminent, Progressive and Rising Rev. William J. Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. The material is already there. You just haven't written it down yet.Think about every sermon you've preached - the preparation behind it, the pastoral instinct, the truth you worked hard to communicate clearly. Most of that disappears when Sunday is over. This book is about making sure it do…esn't.It walks you through taking what you've already preached and shaping it into something people can hold in their hands, read on their own time, and keep coming back to.Along the way, you'll figure out how to spot a real book idea hiding inside your sermon archive, write for a reader rather than a congregation, smooth out the transition from spoken word to written chapter, build a structure that actually holds together from beginning to end, and get your book in front of the people who already trust your voice. There's no complicated system here, no steep learning curve. Just honest, practical guidance for pastors who have more to say than a single Sunday allows.Your best sermons deserve a longer life. This is how you give them one. This item is printed on demand.
