Reddish brown cloth with black decoration and ruling to covers and banding to spine with gilt titles to upper cover and spine. Very typical late Victorian Ecclesiastical binding. Aims at simplicity of language and direct…ness of supplication as well as brevity of prayers. Morning and evening family prayers arranged over four weeks with other occasional prayers. Purple silk book mark still intact. There is some light wear to cloth mostly to extremities and sides of spine and there are a couple of indentations and colour loss spots to front cover. However, good plus for a work of this nature now a century plus a decade strong.
