Handsome 2022 reprint of the 1876 Original.This is one of the best jobs done by this compant in the print, paper and binding, Stephens became a celebrity in becoming critical in the rush to accept the evidence for Prince Madog discovering America his critical mind and knowledge of his native languge created this study with translations of early and later Medieval Welsh Bardic Poetry. While obviously a product of 19th century, the editior claimed Stephens amended his denial of Madoc whether true or not and like Arthur himself obviously by sanity's clarity one would at least keep as open mind both ways than the critics. Sometimes despite flaws of their limitations older academics preserve something overlooked in a age moving faster than one's own mind.
