Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Very Slightly Worn. First Edition. Illustrated, quarto, pp (6), 186, the top edge slightly foxed otherwise very clean internally, green cloth in excellent condition, the dustwrapper is slightly torn at the top edge.

Revised and edited, with Notes, Grammar Appendix, Dictionary, and Historical Introduction for this edition by Stephen V. Duffy, S.J. Octavo. xiii, [2 maps], 164pp. Illustrated. Wire-bound textured paper covers. Text in either Greek or English. Owner label inside front cover, wrappers with edgewear and a diagonal crease on the unprinted lower wrap, first and last pages tanned, very good. An uncommon edition, printed by the Fordham University Purchasing Department, and marked "For Private Use" on the title page. According to a 2005 obituary which we believe to be for the same Stephen V. Duffy, he taught at the Jesuit Regis High School in New York City from 1945 to 1991. *OCLC* locates no copies of this 1951 edition, which we presume to be the first, and a smattering of copies of later editions published into the 1960s.
