No publication date, 81 pages, engraved frontispiece, 7 plates, lithographed chart of the East Coast from the Bell Rock Lighthouse to Hythe, good condition in publisher's cloth binding, gilt and blind decorated, all edges gilt, later leather title label on spine, wear to the lower corners and the spine including the top and bottom, spine also slightly browned and covers marked.

Card Hard Back. Condition: Good. W. Banks & Robert Gibb (illustrator). First Edition. 96 Pages + 6 illustrated Pages + tour map. Condition Blue hardback binding, fair, gilt embossed cover good, minor corner bumps, Rear good, blind embossed, minor corner bumps, lacks spine. Contents very good, the odd minimal mark & owners name top half title of Mifs Sibthorpe. illustrated with 7 single sided plates, a tour map (drawn by Lizar) & 6 illustrated plates (drawn by W. Banks & Robert Gibb), frontispiece is of Loch Katrine, it also lists the same plate to also face page 43 but believe this to be a publishers mistake as other copies are the same , also 3 vignettes within text. Undated c1848 ( found a sold copy that the owner inscribed 1848) It would seem Lizars of Edinburgh published a number of undated tour guides for Scotland as the Railways were bringing more tourists coming and now all are rare, as most were bought by early Railway tourists. They were published by W H Lizars, Edinburgh, but also mentions S. Highley, London; W. Curry, jun. and Company, Dublin not sure if they were co publishers or just sold them. No publication date (circa 1845), 96 pages, (14 blank pages), illustrated with engraved vignettes, tour map and 6 plates engraved on stell by W H Lizars (the plate of Loch Katrine to face page 43 is bound as frontispiece, the frontispiece plate of Edinburgh is facing page 11), good condition in publisher's cloth binding, blind and gilt decorated, all edges gilt, binding rubbed and marked, light wear to the lower corners and the top and bottom of the spine, occasional foxing and spotting.

8vo. [12]pp including additional title, 144pp, 26 etched plates + terminal plate of armorial bearings, 4 woodcut text illustrations. Original blindstamped green grained cloth gilt, aeg. Spine tips rubbed with very light wear; hinge-papers cracked but binding holding firm; occasional very light spotting. Previous owner's armorial bookplate to front paste-down.
