FINE, black cloth covered boards with orange lettering, clean and bright, no bumps, no marks or writing other than by the author, no soiling, in VERY GOOD dust jacket, not price clipped, minor wear to corners and head and foot of spine, moderate age-yellowing. Dust jacket now is protected in archival mylar. An uncommon book, especially signed. Magnum photographer Riboud photographed the people and the country during the war in North Vietnam, including historic photos of Ho Chi Minh at age 78, ten months before his death.

Not inscribed to anyone. Promotional materials from the March 11, 2006 signing event in Minneapolis laid in. VERY GOOD. This book would have been listed as fine, except that the mylar dust jacket cover is the type which is attached to the front and rear pastedowns with adhesive. Not x-library, from a private collection. Previous owner's name in ink on front free endpaper. Book is clean and bright, no soiling. Dust jacket has no chips, no tears, but also cannot be removed from the book.
