Perfectbound Softcover. Condition: Fine. 176 pp. Glossy photo-pictorial wraps. 8to. Anything and everything to do with Audio or Video. Thousands of illustrations through-out catalog. All products listed with prices. It's easy to spot such 70's hi-fi icons as the Marantz receiver with ultra smooth horizontal tuning wheel, the Kenwood gear that leveraged chunky knobs, 100% aluminum surfaces, and rain forest hardwoods, and the elegance of the Garrard turntables. The technology for reproducing music electronically was still very much rooted in the realm of the mechanical in 1971 which largely explains why all the gear was so beautiful. Scarce. Worldcat doesn't come up with anything for "Sonocraft" at all. We did find it listed in the Library of Congress records of application for Copyright for 1971, and that led us to the Smithsonian Library; they have 4 Sonocraft catalogs in their Smithsonian Trade Literature Collection! This catalog is in freakishly fine condition.
