Bradbound in printed studio wrappers. Near fine copy with a hint of handling to the covers. With the postmarked manilla mailing envelope from the James Garner Fan Club addressed to the recipient. The movie tells the story of Bob Beuhler (Garner) who inherits his motherÕs house and the custody of his younger brother (Woods), who suffers from schizophrenia and epilepsy, whom Bob promised to look after when he was younger. Promise won a Primetime Emmy and Mr. Garner was nominated for a Best Actor / Drama Primetime Emmy for his role. The handsome and amiable James Garner (1928 - 2014) was best known for his work in such acclaimed films and television series as The Rockford Files (1974 - 1980), Maverick (1957 - 1962), The Great Escape (1963), Space Cowboys (2000), and The Notebook (2004). Nominated for many awards over the years, in 1986 he was nominated for Best Actor Oscar for MurphyÕs Romance.
