Leather. Condition: Very Good +. 1st, 3rd and 5th editions, mixed. 15 volume set, complete. A Very Good + to Near Fine set. 12mo. All volumes uniformly bound in period half dark blue leather, and line combed marbled paper over boards. Engraved title pages. Top edge gilt. End papers similarly marbled. Spines elaborately decorated in gilt. Light edge wear, mostly at the tips, more so to the England's 3 volumes. End pages nearest the paste downs just starting to tone at the edges. Old booksellers catalogue entry pasted to front end paper of France. A handsome set. All volumes with a title page; with engraved title pages in the 1st volume of each country (except India, which apparently didn't get one). France 3rd edition. England 5th edition.
