Exterior shows spotting and scuffing along with edge and corner bumps/wear. Top of spine shows tearing to the cloth. The internal binding of the text pages is tight but the front hinge is cracked in the rear hinge is starting. Pages are toned/darkened due to age and type of paper used but pages are clean. The only handwriting found in the book is at the top of the second front end page where "Pa-Lancaster, 1893" is lightly written in pencil. No other markings noted, nothing torn or loose, no library markings, no bookplates, no other handwriting found.
