Rare and attractive copy preserved in its original publisher's wrappers, with the original plain waiting cover and a printed title label affixed at the head of the spine. * Following the suicide of Louis-Jean-Baptiste Devilly in December 1825, his widow Félicité-Constance Gentil (17971843) was granted her bookseller's license on 10 October 1826, which helps approximate the date of this edition.
