This book contains three novels the first written by John Cordy Jeaffreson in 1862 and is entitled Olive Blake's Good Work and two others by Frederick William Robinson in 1865 and are entitled Cary's Confession and Mr Stewart's Intention. Each novel has its own title page and is paginated separately. In a half vellum binding with marbled boards. Externally, smart with some minor wear to the extremities. A small amount of wear to the extremities. Internally the book is generally bright throughout apart from the occasional spot and handling mark in the text and on the endpapers. A couple of the pages have been reinforced with masking tape down the margins and tape to page 175 of Olive Blake's Good Work. There is an ink signature on each title page which sometimes obscures the text and page one of Olive Blake's Good Work. Good. book.

Nims was an editor at Poetry Magazine when 4 of Jeffers poems appeared in the October 1947 issue and was one of the translators of EURIPIDES III: FOUR TRAGEDIES (1958). Some of his comments herein indicate lines from (or not) Euripides. 8vo copper-stamped quarter black cloth, orange paper boards; top edge black (the American Institute of Graphic Arts called it "one of the four most beautifully made books of the new season.") Laid in at top of the bulletins is a mimeographed 1 April 1922 letter from Pennsylvania state geologist George H. Ashley, addressed "Dear Sir" (presumably sent to university librarians, with this one being sent to a Harvard librarian), listing the bulletins that he was mailing to them. Many of the mimeographed bulletins have wear, short margin tears and/or chips and some soil; the bulletins range in length from 3 p. to 26 p.; most are about 11 p. each. Atkins Male Chorus, a group associated with the Psalmist Baptist Church of Baltimore, Maryland. Both Westley Temple and Palmist Baptist continue to serve their communities today, the latter now operating under the name "New Palmist Baptist Church." 14 x 22 inches.
