Paper cover is lightly rub worn and thumbed with light shelf wear to edges and corners. Light creases to corners and spine. Light tanning to spine and edges.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Reprint. xvi, 487pp. Ex-library. Translated and Completed by A. L. Rowse. Some general light wear to covers, with a little heavier wear in places to extremities, as well as light soiling and a few small, faint stains to edges of pages. Unobtrusive ink underlining and notes, mostly to approximately first 50 pages. Two color, called for fold-out maps are present, though one is detached and admits to several short tears and small chips. Binding sound. Price-clipped dust-jacket present and is mostly intact, but worn, including mild spotting. An acceptable reading copy.

Soft cover. Condition: Fair. Good vintage condition. Some notes and writing inside. The Fiends of the Bridgeport Public library use these funds to promote literacy in the Bridgeport public schools and the community.
