First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Stated First Edition. Signed ('Moments with the Muse!, Rose Kawa Stern') by the author on the first front end paper. You can see the blue covers in the photographs. They are spotless. There is a small tear on the bottom edge of the front cover. Also a bump/crease at the front top and bottom corners, and a bit of color fade at the spine ends. This book is very solidly bound, no issues in that regard. The pages are very clean. I didn't see any soiling. There aren't any creases or dogeared corners. There is a slight impression off the top edge of some of the early pages, likely the result of a bump to the front cover near the gutter. With the exception of the author's signature, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. And there aren't any markings or attachments. The dust jacket can be seen in the first photograph. It is quite clean. It has a small triangular loss at the bottom right corner of the front. There's also a little bit of loss at the top of the spine, and a few small scuffs on the spine as well. There's a scratch on the rear cover near the top edge. The four flaps have very narrow corner clips, so narrow that the price at the top of the front flap is unaffected. The flaps are very clean and in very good condition. I've had the jacket in a fitted protective cover as long as I've owned it. Signed by Author(s).

Extra shipping charges may apply.** "The publication of Guy Rose; American Impressionist marks the rediscovery of an American master of the Impressionist style of painting after more than half a century of virtual neglect. Guy Rose received a traditional late-nineteenth century academic art training, first in his native California and later in Paris. During the first two decards of the twentieth centry, he divided his time between the French village of Giverny, made famous by Claude Monet, and California. In France, Rose learned the luminous Impressionist painting strategies that he transferred to the Pacific coastal scenes he painted when he returned to California." -- From jacket.
