Released in the US under the title "Revenge of the Gladiators," it was originally released in Italy under the title "La vendetta di Spartacus" or "The Revenge of Spartacus," which it is also known by. "Revenge of the Gladiators" was the first of Michele Lupo's gladiator trilogy and was shot back to back with the second in the trilogy, 1964's "Seven Slaves Against the World," which was followed by "Seven Rebel Gladiators" from 1965, all three of which feature much of the same cast. After Sparticus' crucifixion rumors circulate that he is, in fact, still alive and has organized an army to fight the Romans. Roman legionary Valerio (Roger Brown) discovers the deceit and unsuccessfully attempts to warn the Spartacists. 8 x 10 inches. Near Fine.

Revue trimestrielle. (Jean-Yves Lacroix, Catalogue Revues, janvier 2019, p.4). Livres.
