The boards have fading along the edges and to the spine with quite heavy fading along the top edge of the rear panel. The page edges have some browning with light spotting to the fore edges. Small booksellers' label at the bottom right corner of the front pastedown. The pages are slightly browned and there is a little smudging to the title and facing page but they pages are otherwise unmarked. The jacket has a quarter inch piece missing at the top of the spine and a one inch long V shaped piece missing from the top edge of the rear panel. The front panel has a one inch closed tear at the top left corner with some associated creasing. The rear panel has a little surface tearing at the bottom left corner.
