These articles were written for the local newspaper editions from August 4, 1950 to October 6, 1950. Bibliography. The colophon reads as follows: "Fifty copies were printed on Nina Environmental Natural White Text in April, 2003 on a Hewlett Packard Color Laserjet 4550 N. The cover type and page headers are set in Adobe Papyrus Postscript. All compositing and layout by Scott Rubel, who took a really long time getting this done, knowing that hard work means delayed gratification, whereas procrastination always pays off now." Christopher Rubel's long tenure in and exploration of Glendora and the San Gabriel Mountains has given him a unique perspective on the issue of water in the area. "Pucketychoo" is the sound the mechanized water pump makes as it pumps water from the ground. A "must have" for anyone interested in water in Southern California. Signed by Author(s).
