169p., preface, illustrations, a few underlined passages, #664/1500 copies, text in French, in original cream wraps with extremely faded red spine titling.

Softcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. B&W illustrations (illustrator). (NAP). Bound in signatures with paper wraps, in glassine jacket. French language. Photographs, portraits, caricatures, etc. A much-handled volume with creased spine, opening widely but as it is bound in signatures, all pages are securely attached. ***Severe spine-lean.*** Covers have some smudging, and there is a 1/2" tear at the lower edge of the front cover, at the spine. The glassine jacket has a great deal of wear, tear, creasing and chipping, and is sun-browned, especially on the spine. Still a very cool item for the aficionado. The caricatures are wonderful.
