Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. Slight fading to the edges of the boards with a little rubbing to the corners. Browning to the edges of the pages. The front free endpaper has the name of the original owner along with a date, the names of his two Colleges and a reference number - this was Jimmy Altham, a Life Fellow of Gonville & Caius College, and a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. The pages are slightly browned but are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has chipping around the top and bottom of the spine with a two inch closed tear down the side of the spine next to the front panel and another one inch tear at the bottom. There is also rubbing along the edges of the spine and browning to the rear panel. First printing.
