Fine. At lower left, beneath the postal cancellation, Ryan signs large and bold in blue ballpoint. Attractive and very scarce.

Closes off with a true crusader's salutation: "Please carry the program forward." A quite uncommon autograph.

Mimeographed "Abstract" for a talk given by Ryan at the 11th STAPP Car Crash Conference at UCLA, titled "The Hydraulic Bumper -- Automatic Seat Belt Package on Ground Vehicles." In the upper left corner of the first page, Ryan signs and inscribes it bold in blue ballpoint: "J.J. Ryan to / Paul Johnston / 7-23-71." With original envelope. Quite unusual and scarce.
