Condition: Good. 1948. First Printed. 136 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over brown paper covered boards and cloth to spine. Black and white photographs and illustrations throughout. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with tears, chips, and some areas of loss. Noticeable rubbing and marking.

Condition: Fair. 1948. Second Enlarged Edition. 160 pages. No dust jacket. Brown textured boards with brown cloth spine. Includes photographic plates. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Gutters heavily cracked with exposed netting; feels a little loose overall. Text block edges are a little tanned and foxed with minor scratches. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have some edge wear, with pronounced bumping and peeling to corners, while spine ends are crushed and fraying. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall.
