Follows the incredible story of the building of the Brooklyn Bridge, with an emphasis on both the engineering and the people involved. Wonderful vintage illustrations by the author throughout. 62 pages, 7-1/2" X 10". Sturdy library binding. Stiff illustrated hardcover boards. As a library discard, there are 'Discard' ink stamps on the paste-down, end-papers, and title pages. Also a former owner's gift dedication written on a label on the front end paper. That label is 5-1/2" x 2". Black ink mark to the top edge of the text block, and a black sharpie squiggle mark on the copyright page. However, there is no 'Due Date' pocket on the back end paper page. No library markings on the cover boards. Some smudge marks from use to the cover, but overall the cover boards are in good shape. No further marks on the text pages besides those library marks noted earlier - the interior pages have no writing and no library marks. Binding is tight. The attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
