Presentation label to inner front board dated 1892, but pale-yellow end-papers look a few years earlier in design - book is undated. Slight finger marks to end-papers & title-page which has very slight foxing. All page-edges gilt. Binding a little strained at centre but holding sound. Text has one or two light finger marks but is gernerally very clean with attractive b/w illustrations. Attractive volume despite used appearance.
