Also contains works by Ben Jonson, John Milton, . and an introduction by Graham Fawcett. The Globe Playhouse Trust commissioned works inspired by Shakespeare, briefing the poets to write either an occasional poem for Shakespeare, a poem developing a Shakespearean theme or character, a neo-Shakespearean lyric, or a poem adopting or containing a phrase or line from Shakespeare which were performed by the poets in London on 25th April 1973. Each of the poems by contemporary authors includes a black and white photographed portrait with a short biography beneath, Ta is also printed in Japanese. pp. 80. First Edtion.
