Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Second SeriesVolume III, No. I. Small quarto. 78 [2 ads] pp. Printed wrappers. Ownership stamp and signature of noted American psychologist and anthropologist Henry Guze, (a founder of the American Academy of Psychotherapists, the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, and co-founder of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sex) on the front cover, as well as a stamp for Boston's American Epilepsy league on the first leaf. Wrappers with some wear, very good or better. Contains overviews of the work of various chapters, a review of the 1944 literature, and an original article, by H. Houston Merritt and Tracy J. Putnam: "Experimental Determination of Anticonvulsive Activity of Chemical Compounds." Terminal leaf contains two full-page ads for synthetic anticonvulsants, Tridione and Dilantin Sodium.
