First edition; two portfolio volumes of plates (this set lacks the text volume). 41cm x 32cm, 129 plates (65 plates in Band I, 64 plates in Band II, all complete as per the list). The portfolio folders are the original blue cloth, titlting printed in white on the front covers. The plates are in very good condition; the folders are worn (some rubbing and scuffing, one inner fold repaired in Band I). Each volume contains a 4-page list of plates. A complete set of the plates, but please note that the text volume is not present in this set. Text in German.
