Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Condition of Volume One is worse. Front cover has a small patch of residue and a few very small soiled spots. Rear cover has two very small surface scrapes. Binding is badly cracked preceding the half-title page. Only two threads are attached to the front cover and endpapers. Volume Two: front inner hinge is mostly cracked, rear inner hinge is starting to crack. ; In two volumes. "Illustrated by etchings by himself and reproductions of sketches by himself and friends." Contemporaneous clipped notice of these volumes pasted to front endpaper of volume one.
