Soft cover. Condition: Fine. No Jacket. States "First edition (hardcopy print): June 2013." We use the ISBN from the copyright page. Rear wrap offers the different ISBN 978-0-9842063-3-9. Unread, though there are a few impressions to rear wrap, as though someone placed a piece of paper on the book and doodled a bit. Unusual, hefty trade paperback which appears to be a piece of fiction based around the highly suspicious July, 2010, shooting death (by Las Vegas police officers) of Erik Scott, the author's son, identified here as "Erik W Steele." (The only surveillance video camera which would have caught the officers drawing their guns on Scott, after they instructed the Costco store manager to send all customers pouring out the front door in broad daylight by pulling a fire alarm, was, um . . . not working that day.) Signed "William B. Scott" (name only) in black marker to the title page. (This is a "live" signature, which bleeds through to verso. Beneath this signature, someone has written with a different pen "To Matt -- Many thanks for standing with us. Best Wishes! Bill." We presume this is also an author inscription.) 592 pp. Here reduced from $25. Inscribed by Author(s).
Hard Cover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Signed by William B. Craig. Pencil price written on ffep. Clean pages. Dj slight edgewear and one one inch tear. Fifteen years after the alleged incident, Roberta Claire accuses Lloyd Adams, her stepfather, of sexual abuse -- vents that have remained dormant in the recesses of her memory. Is this a case of recovered memory by a child victim of incest or a fantasy implanted by a therapist? The story is even more engrossing because it is fueled by the controversy surrounding "recovered memories". This book is unique among the many books 'recovered memories' because it presents both sides of the issue. Readers will get to 'see' what really happens in a trial -- and the reader is a juror.
