No Binding. Condition: Fair. Single sheet, measuring 8 1/2 inches in height x 6 inches in width. Five stanzas and chorus within an ornamental border. Condition is Fair with age-toning around all edges, along with the odd nicks and chips. Protected now against further wear in a clear display sleeve with white cardstock backing board. Note that the "song" is written in what was then perceived as "Negro dialect," and includes an objectionable, racially charged term. Scroggy's standard tag line at bottom: "No. 443 Vine Street below 13th, where all the new songs can be had, wholesale and retail." See American Antiquarian Society Catalogue entry #358932.
