    Leather Bound. Condition: Fair. xv, iii, 416 p. 22 cm. Full leather. Hinges tender. Worn, especially edges and corners. Label for Alexander Oliphant Petrie on front pastedown. Inscription on front free endpaper states: "This Book was presented as a present to Alex Petrie by William Scott Esq. of the London Plate Glass Works on the 8th June 1808." Lacks 5 folding plates. Dampstains from title page up to viii. Some other spots and thumbing throughout. Tear in bottom of pp. 259-261. Title continues: "Being A System of Mineralogy in General, and of all the Arts arising from this Science. To the great Improvement of Manufactures, And the most capital Branches of Trade and Commerce, Theoretical and Practical. In Two Parts".
