Condition: Fair. 664 p., clean and unmarked within on strong paper only faintly age-toned; former owner's name on front end page; front gutter badly cracked but boards remain attached and text block is firm; in absenceof d.j. the light blue boards have some stains, bumped corners adn rubbing at crown and foot of spine; spine is sunned; small ding on upper edge of front board. Includes not only the famous tales and detective stories bur essays, critical articles, 24 letters of great interest. Considering the good condition of the text block rebinding is advisable.
