A good set in contemporary half calf, covers rubbed with the loss of some of the labels, front hinge of vol 2 failing. Circulation library stamps to the front pasdedowns, with blind stamps to the prelims. Slightly later notes by a previous owner on the verso of the title pages. Despite the faults a good set, with the contents clean and unmarked and text blocks sound. A scarce early Hall work, with copies rarely appearing on the market.
