Half Leather. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. H. C. Selous (illustrator). No date of publication, though circa 1860s (Cassell Petter & Galpin existed in this configuration from 1858 to 1878). Complete set in three volumes, including comedies, histories, and tragedies. Burgundy dyed leather over spines and corners, with buckram burgundy cloth over boards. Beveled edges. Gilt stamped lettering on spine and top cover. Raised spine bands create six compartments on each spine. Leather is rubbed and scuffed, with a little loss of some lettering on spine. Light wear at corners and spine ends. There is a little light scattered foxing, mostly seen on first and last few leaves, and more so on tissue guards than the actual leaves. All three volumes remains tight, and are otherwise very clean and intact. Due to size and weight additional charges will apply for Priority and/or International shipping.

Bound in half leather over marbled boards, two spine labels lettered in gilt, all edges marbled, green endpapers, front hinge starting in one volume, ink name to first blank of each. Edges of boards a bit rubbed and scuffed, marbling to boards scuffed, leather scratched and scuffed around edges and corners, spines sunned. Contents clean, the books are tight and square. Overall an attractive set, with numerous illustrations in the text and full page plates.
