"The Troubled Air" was a look into "McCarthyism" and it resulted in Shaw being blacklisted in Hollywood and accused of being a communist. Shaw left the USA and lived in Europe for the next 25 years but later said that the blacklisting only partially hurt his writing career. Signed by Author(s).
