First edition (published in the US in 1932 in the same form). Hardcover. Original blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt and front cover decorated in gilt. Some wear along the top edges, professionally mended, and a small professionally repaired tear at the head of the spine, short ownership inscription on the verso of the front free endpaper, dated 1939, otherwise good in an added archival jacket for this copy. Scan available on request. A fine prose translation, attractively bound, with map endpapers and a vignette title-page.
