Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Gilt-stamped burgundy cloth; 4to; 130pp; top edge gilt, others untrimmed; illustrated with tipped-in color frontispiece with tissue guard plus 6 others after paintings by A.L. Ripley; limited to 485 numbered (#416) copies. A collection of duck, grouse & woodcock shooting tales by a master story-teller. One of the nicest books produced by Derrydale with striking gilt rules & titles plus printed on quality unwatermarked paper. With the exception of small ghost tape marks to endpapers, a near fine copy with may pages yet unopened.
