Ten parchment sheets with 12 pages exquisite, handwritten calligraphy, partially gilt, bearing the hand-drawn and painted noble coat of arms granted. Text in Latin. Pages ruled in gilt floral ornament. At the end, the signature of Ferdinand II, Péter Pázmány and L?rinc Ferenczffy. Original red velvet cover over paper boards, with silk laces. With the large imperial red wax seal of Ferdinand II in wooden skippet, suspended with gold threads. An original patent of nobility and grant of arms, given by Ferdinand II (15781637) to Illés Dolianszki. Signed by the Emperor, Péter Pázmány (15701637) as Archbishop of Esztergom, and the Primate of Hungary, and L?rinc Ferenczffy (15771640) as royal secretary and scribe. Such grants of arms with Hungarian reference, complete with the seal, are extremely rare. To the best of our knowledge, the present document is the first on the market bearing the signature of Péter Pázmány.
