    Spiral bound. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. First Edition. A a thoroughly researched and comprehensive review of the Wisconsin Central's locomotives. Includes a letter SIGNED by the author laid in the book as well as an advertising brochure for the book. Contains a map of the line's rails, photographs and diagrams of locomotives, information on WC locomotives' former owners, builder number and dates, paint, engine hp, cylinders, history of previous owners, etc. The WC acquired the Green Bay and Western, Fox River Valley Railroad, Fox Valley and Western Ltd., and the Algoma Central Railway who the author says is included as well. The Wisconsin Central operated 2,850 miles of track in the Great Lakes region (primarily Wisconsin & the Upper Peninsula ob Michigan) prior to its sale to the Canadian National Railway where it now operates as a subsidiary. This book appears to have been unread and has no significant wear or markings to interior or exterior. ; B&W Photographs; 6" x 9"; 58 pages.
