The book has sound hinges and does not lean. There is a bookplate on the first free end page indicating that the book was a gift from Princeton University to a professor. Pages are clean without marks, creases, stains, or wrinkles. There are several minor marks and light soiling generally to outer covers. The book's spine is significantly faded from sun exposure. There is rub wear to top and bottom edges of covers and spine, corner tips. In the upper right corner of the back cover, there is some significant rub wear to the book's boards. The book's original dust jacket is lightly soiled. It has several creases and some chips and tears, some of which have been repaired with clear tape.
