Stapled binding tight. Lots of writing on title page. 32 pages. Mother Goose has lots of tales contributed to her. This book has 5 tales and color scenes from five others. The tales are Tommy Tucker, Jack Spratt, Old Mother Hubbard, Simple Simon and Old King Cole. It has an ad for the Singing Lady's radio programs and Kellogg's products disguised as helpful information. The book is illustrated with lots of colorful pictures. Size: 6.5 x 9.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Book size about 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches with some 55 pages. Bound in pale blue wraps with dark blue lettering. A Kellogg Company promotional book telling fairy tales from their sponsored radio show. This book is designed solely for teachers and LAID-IN IS A LETTER TO TEACHERS EXPLAINING THE BOOK'S ORIGIN. Some ten fairy tales in all. Each presumably written to satisfy the time constraints of a radio show. Covers darkening along the edges; previous owner name in pencil on front cover; center two leaves loose from staples; small edge tear to one rear page. GOOD.

Condition: Good. Good condition. ( mother goose, children's literature, juvenile works ) A copy that has been read but remains intact. May contain markings such as bookplates, stamps, limited notes and highlighting, or a few light stains.

Illustrations are by Gustaf Tenggren from the Little Golden Book of the same name. Side Two of the record is Bizet's Farandole, Mitch Miller and his Orchestra performing, Ireene Wicker, the Singing Lady, singing. Collectible.
