A retelling of the tale of Baba Yaga, illustrated in color by David Small. A very early title by Small would would go one to win the Caldecott Medal and Caldecott Honor. Size: 4to.

FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, INSCRIBED "Love." AND SIGNED BY THE PUPPETS KUKLA AND OLLIE, ALSO SIGNED "BURR" BY THE AUTHOR, who adds the date "November 1984". Kukla and Ollie's signatures look suspiciously like Burr's, so we cannot authenticate their signatures as being genuine.
