L'incisione fu utilizzata nell'opera: "Serie di ritratti d'uomini illustri toscani con gli elogj istorici dei medesimi [.]" Firenze, appresso Giuseppe Allegrini, 1766-1773 e reca una numerazione romana, manoscritta nel Settecento in alto a destra, sul margine bianco superiore.
