Add to basketFolio, 380 x 285 mm. 81 spatterwork images. Contemporary half morocco a little rubbed and stained, cloth just starting to peel on upper cover. An anonymous collection of fine spatterwork images, all using ferns, very few of the same species. Spatterwork was produced by laying the subject, ferns in this case, on a sheet of paper and spraying an ink or similar fluid over the top. It would appear that these were produced directly onto album pages. Whilst not strictly nature printing, the process had a similar appeal as image could be produced with the minimum of equipment, or even expertise.
