Condition: Very Good. 9 x 6", glossy wraps, 241pp with index, covers rubbed, extremities lightly bumped, textblock edges lightly soiled, but still a decent copy of the FIRST EDITION, INSCRIBED "August 1, 2006, To Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick with Best Wishes." AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, JOHANNES F. SPREEN. Spreen was once Detroit's Police Commissioner, and Oakland County Sheriff. Kilpatrick, who is mentioned in the book (see page 134), served as Detroit's Mayor from 2002 to 2008 when he resigned due to a perjury conviction; he later served time in a Federal prison for racketeering, etc. Great association.
