Announcement of the Estates General by which they withdraw all earlier decrees forbidding the import and consumption of several French products, amongst which wines and paper. Vertical, discoloured crease across paper. Cluster of circular, brown stains. Pamphlet contains a beautiful historiated initial 'D'. Handwritten in pencil in bottom right margin: 'Ao 1674.' Ordinance of the Estates General concerning Staats Brabant (the part of Brabant that belongs to the Dutch Republic, Noord-Brabant), where 'popish' notaries and other private persons usurp the competences of the official local authorities to draw up and to registrate acts and contracts of all kinds.
