Colour paintings of fish, b/w photographs & line illustrations. Slight use but good-plus. One of the famous I-Spy series, Fishing has lots of basic information about angling, good pictures and the customary checklist of items - fish, tackle and anglers here, in the main - for children to find and look at. 'Big Chief I-Spy' was originally the pen-name of Charles Warrell, founder of the I-Spy series. Warrell retired in 1956, the new 'Big Chief I-Spy' being Arnold Cawthrow, Warrell's assistant. When this title was published, Cawthrow's assistant was Ralph Mills, working under the pen-name of "Hawkeye." The first I-Spy books were published by Charles Warrell himself before being taken over by the Daily Mail, then by the News Chronicle which went bankrupt, followed by a successor company of the News Chronicle,The Dickens Press. The Daily Mail took over the series once more, and later publication was in the hands of Polystyle Publications which specialised in children's comics. Michelin Travel Publications published the series from 1991, discontinuing it in 2002. Michelin Travel Publications relaunched the series in time for Christmas 2009, with more new titles following in the spring of 2010. .
