Significant shelf wear to boards, with heavy soiling and discoloration near the edges, rubbing on all edges, bumping to fore corners with exposed board, and some peeling to paper on the rear board. Text block shows expected age toning and moderate edge wear. Offsetting on endpapers; faint, contemporary gift inscription on the front pastedown. Some very light toning along the plate edges. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 16 full page color plates on oversized paper, pasted in with protective tissue paper. Covers show moderate shelf wear and scuffing on corners, age toning around edges and some stray marks. Binding tight. Prev owner inscription dated 1931 on front end paper, end papers and some of the pages show light scattered foxing. A few of the plates have bend marks along internal edges, though along the very edge and not affecting the image on the plate. Very nice, clean copy.
