Steamship Timetable. Condition: Near Fine. Circa 1880's promotional steamship schedule for Starin's Glen Island Park in New York. Starin's was "the first summer resort in the United States, if not the world" and ".preceded Disneyland as the first "theme park" by many years. [Seacord, Morgan H. Historical Landmarks of New Rochelle. pp. 22-24]. Lithographed timetable, 6-1/4 x 7 inches wide, folded in half at center, "Donaldson Brothers, Five Points, N.Y." is printed at foot of back cover. Edge wear with a small tide line stain and tiny chip at bottom right corner, else bright and clean. The park was opened to the general public in 1881 and closed 1910.
