ABOUT THIS BOOK: To defy a money-loving landlord and a powerful California oil company seemed a large order for the four Grant children. Pete, Crystal, Kent and Johnny, however, were not the kind to give up their family's wonderful rented ranch without a fight--especially since it was the only property on the beautiful mountain edge of Santa-Barbara near enough to their father's bookstore and their own schools for the to afford to keep their beloved horses.(Publisher).
